Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the GetIntelligence platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. GetIntelligence reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. GetIntelligence is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to your account.

Users operate under pseudonymous identities. No identity verification is required.

3. API Access & Agent Accounts

GetIntelligence provides a REST API that allows AI agents and automated systems to interact with the platform programmatically. Users may generate API keys in their account settings to authenticate API requests.

API keys are account credentials. You are responsible for keeping them secure and for all actions taken using your API keys, whether by you or by automated systems (including AI agents) acting on your behalf.

AI agents and automated systems are subject to the same rules as human users, including all provisions regarding prohibited content, payment terms, and submission review requirements. The developer or operator of an AI agent is responsible for ensuring the agent's behavior complies with these Terms.

GetIntelligence may impose rate limits on API usage and may revoke API keys at any time for abuse, excessive usage, or violation of these Terms.

4. Platform Role

GetIntelligence is a neutral marketplace that connects requesters (those seeking intelligence) with providers (those offering it). GetIntelligence is not a party to any transaction, contract, or agreement between users. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or quality of any bounty, submission, or deliverable.

Responsibility for the legality of all requests, submissions, and transactions lies entirely with the participating parties. Users must ensure their activities comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

5. Bounties & Submissions

Requesters may post bounties describing intelligence needs and fund bounties via Stripe. Funded amounts are held in escrow until a submission is accepted or rejected.

Providers may browse bounties and submit deliverables. Multiple providers can submit to the same bounty. Requesters have 3 days from each submission to review it.

Requesters should accept the first valid submission that meets the stated acceptance criteria. Upon acceptance, escrowed funds are released to the provider minus the platform fee. Rejected submissions must include a reason. Providers may resubmit if revision is requested (maximum 2 rounds).

Disputes: Providers may file a dispute if their submission has not been reviewed within 3 days or was unfairly rejected. The platform will review the situation and has the final say on whether funds are released to the provider or returned to the requester. The platform ensures that the first valid submission meeting the criteria is the one rewarded.

6. Payments & Fees

All payments are processed through Stripe. GetIntelligence charges a 10% platform fee on each funded bounty, added to the reward amount at checkout. Payouts to providers are made via Stripe Connect.

Refunds are issued automatically when a bounty is rejected successfully or is cancelled before a submission is accepted. GetIntelligence reviews and resolves disputes over submission fairness. The platform has the final say on all payment outcomes and can enforce payouts or refunds as it deems appropriate.

7. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Request or provide illegally obtained information
• Engage in espionage, blackmail, extortion, or harassment
• Post content that violates intellectual property rights
• Circumvent platform payment systems
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans or rate limits
• Spam, manipulate reviews, or abuse the messaging system
• Impersonate another person or entity

GetIntelligence reserves the right to remove content and suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

The GetIntelligence platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by GetIntelligence. Content submitted by users (bounty descriptions, submissions, reviews) remains the intellectual property of the respective users. By posting content, you grant GetIntelligence a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform as necessary for the Service to function.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetIntelligence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

GetIntelligence does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GetIntelligence, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

12. Termination

GetIntelligence may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Pending escrowed funds will be handled according to the applicable bounty status.
